The Arab Center of Washington is pleased announce the creation of the long overdue Best Country Booth Award. A plaque will be presented to one of the six country booths participating in the 2005 Arab Festival.

Paying Tribute: The 2005 Iraqi Booth

In light of the current political upheaval in Iraq, the ACW has partnered with local radio station, KBCS 91.3, to make a unique tribute to the Iraqi people by transforming their country booth into a "recording studio" for the purposes of taping your thoughts and feelings about the current war.

Introducing Arab Heritage Month!

The Arab Center of Washington is producing the fifth biennial Arab Festival to be held at the Seattle Center, August 5th-7th, 2005. This year, we are expanding into a new venture of an entire month of activities, Arab Heritage Month. The Arab Heritage Month will be kicked off with the Arab Festival at the Seattle Center, and then move to the Richard Hugo House on Capital Hill.
